To meet the need of next-generation fuel crises, BMW is going to launch the most affordable electric SUV, BMW iX1 EV by the end of 2023 expected to cost you between Rs 60 Lakh to Rs 65 Lakh(Est.). It’s available in UK at £53,295 from NOV. 2022 It will counter Jaguar F-Pace, Land Rover Range Rover Evoque, Valvo XC40 Recharge and Audi Q5.
BMW iX1 EV is powered by a 66.5kWh battery capable of producing twin motors for a combined 313hp and 495Nm of torque capable of rocketing 0-100kph in 5.6 seconds, top-speed up to 180KMH promising WLTP-rated range of up to 440km in a single charge.
The 5-seater SUV offers you boot space 490L fitted with 18-inch alloys with Sport leather multifunction steering wheel with the operation of instrument display, audio, telephone and driver assistance, satellite navigation, two-zone climate control, and 40:20:40 split rear seats, Dual-zone automatic air conditioning, Cruise control is also standard, along with a digital cockpit which BMW calls Live Cockpit Plus.
For safety New iX1 offers you an Anti-lock Brake System and Electronic Brakeforce Distribution, Automatic Stability Control (ASC), Cornering brake control (CBC), Dynamic brake control, Front and rear head airbags, Crash Sensor – activates hazard/interior lighting + unlocks doors, Tyre pressure monitor
BMW emergency call, Integrated brake system, Energy recovery system, Braking readiness, Dynamic stability control + (DSC+) and PC iBrake PostCrash approach control warning with light braking function.
